Angsana Cooking Class
While googling "Cooking class in Bangkok", I stumbled across a forum filled with rave reviews about Angsana, a local Thai housewife who opened her home for private cooking lessons in her own kitchen.
As opposed to the traditional cooking schools with 30 in a class, the Thai Home Cooking experience was much more hands on and intimate.
It was just the three of us in a tiny kitchen, which meant mistakes were forgivable and more questions could be answered.
We made everything from scratch, from peeling dozens of shrimp, squeezing a basketful of lime, and dicing those bloody shallots.
We cooked Pad Thai, Tom Yum, and Sea Bass with Lime and Chili and devoured them right after. We paid 2,000 baht each for the half day session.
